1 CONT One of my uncles, Guy COOPER, married a lady of German descent. The
only information I have concerning her name is a phonetic spelling.
Lickihunt or Likihunt. They called her Girly or Gurly. My Mother
thought it was because no one could pronounce her name. They might have
been married in Oklahoma. I think she had a brother named John. After
leaving Oklahoma they moved to California and had several children. She
remarried after her husband died and returned to Oklahoma. She has been
deceased for several years but without a proper spelling of her name I
can't search for a death certificate and I do not know the burial place.
If you can help with the spelling or have a lost relative that married a
Cooper in the 1920's? please contact
pcooper@juno.com. Thanks to Kraig for suggesting the group.
