1 CONT BENJAMIN H GULLETT
1 CONT Benjamin H Gullett, 93, of 27 Grove Drive, died Friday at 8:55 p.m.at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in Elizabethtown, son of William Waitman and Julia Emma (Hungerford) Gullett. In 1919 he married Mary Mitchell in Eldorado. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Jeanne Henking of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and three grand children. Mr. Gullett moved to Centralia in 1974 after living in Decatur for many years. For about 50 years he and his brother, Charles, were owners of Central Illinois Investment Co. in Decatur. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur and attended the First United Methodist Church in Centralia. He was a 70-year member of the Masonic Lodge and was affiliated with the Springfield lodge. He also was a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Springfield; Ansar Temple of the Shrine in Springfield; The Decatur American Legion; Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity of Delaware; Ohio; and he attended both Ohio Wesleyan University at Delaware, Ohio and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He was a longtime member of the Decatur Club and the Decatur Country Club. He was active in Republican Party politics in Decatur for many years and served for many years as a precinct committeeman. Mr Gullett was a captain in the U.S. Army during World War 1 and served in the infantry and cavalry in France. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Luer Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Ambrose officiating. Burial will be in Raleigh Cemetery.

 James T. Anglin Dies at Age 70
1 CONT James T. Anglin, 70, a retired farmer, died at 3 a.m. today at his home, 730 N. Arthur.
1 CONT He had been a resident of Amarillo since 1943.
1 CONT Mr. Anglin was bonr Sept. 16, 1885, Cassville, Ark.
1 CONT He was a Baptist.
1 CONT Arrangements for funeral services are pending with N. S. Griggs and Sons.
1 CONT Mr. Anglin is survived by his wife, Mrs. Donna Anglin; three sons, Leon Anglin of Amarillo and Clarnece and Paul Anglin of Seminole, Okla; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Cooper of Compton, Calif., and Mrs. Jessie Powell of Cassville; a brother Walter Anglin of Wheeler, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

1 CONT Final rites for Walter Anglin, an employee of Lane Ice Cream Co., were scheduled at 4o'clock this afternoon in Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel. Rev. Frank Godsoe, pastor of Central Baptist Church, was to officiate.
1 CONT Named as pallbearers were Lonnie Lee, Lloyd Lee, Ogle Lemons, Curtis Pond, Randy Ray and Frank McCartey. Burial was scheduled in Llano Cemetery.
1 CONT Amarillo Lodge No. 731, AF&AM was to conduct graveside Masonic services.
1 CONT Mr. Anglin, 34 years old, had been a resident of Amarillo for five years. He moved here from Wheeler, where he was a member of the Masonic order.
1 CONT He died yesterday afternoon in his home, 838 Lipscomb, apparently victim of a heart attack. He had been ill only a short tiem.
1 CONT Surviving relatives include his widow, Mrs. Fay Anglin, a son, Raymond; a daughter, Betty Marie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Anglin, 737 North Arthur; and three brothers, Clarence Anglin, Clovis, NM; Paul Anglin, Amarillo, and Leon Anglin, Albuquerque.
