1 CONT ALMA ALTHEA HAMMACK PATTERSON
1 CONT Alma Althea Patterson, 88, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at her home surrounded by her family.
1 CONT Alma was born in Gassville, Ark., on Aug. 30, 1916, to J.W. and Mary Hammack. She was one of five sisters and four brothers, all of whom preceded her in death. Alma was a faithful member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Independence, Mo.
1 CONT Alma is survived by her husband, Leslie Patterson; her loving daughter, Mary Lou Herbst and husband, Nick; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
1 CONT Alma was much loved and will be missed by a host of family and friends. "Bon voyage, Mimi."
1 CONT Her wishes were to be cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of Buck Ashcraft Funeral home, Harlingen, Texas

Graveside services for Wewoka resident Milo Milton Morgan are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Little Cemetery.
1 CONT Rev. David Brasfield will officiate.
1 CONT Services will be under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
1 CONT Morgan died Friday, July 2, 2004 at O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 80.
1 CONT Morgan was born to John Elmer and Virgille "Elledge" Morgan on April 1, 1924 in Haskell-Porter.
1 CONT He attended elementary school at Cromwell.
1 CONT Morgan has been a resident of Oakridge Home for the last 35 years and had many friends and family and will be missed dearly.
1 CONT He was preceded in death by his parents, John Elmer and Virgille Morgan; one brother, Loyd Morgan; and one sister, Thelma Romero.
1 CONT Morgan is survived by four nieces, LaDean Lasiter, Louise Morgan, Naoma O’Donnell, and LeAnn Webb; two nephews, Mike Romero and Albert Morgan.
1 CONT Pallbearers include Gerald Morgan, Harold Lasiter, Hershal O’Donnell, Greg Morgan, Scott Lasiter, Jeff O’Donnell and Albert Morgan.

The Baxter County History, Vol 22 No 2, page 3 has a query from Lucille Henry searching for Henry children. Among them is George Washington, born Feb 5, 1852 (he is buried in Wetumka, OK Cemetery) He grew up and married Mary NEOMA Stafford on Dec 27, 1878 in Baxter Co., AR.

1 CONT A graveside service for Della May Connor, 95, of Gassville will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Visitation will from noon- 9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home with family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Connor died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007.
1 CONT She is survived locally by three sons, Bill Conner, Melvin Conner and Bob Conner.

1 CONT Services for J. S. "Jay" Henry, 81, of Jenks, were 10 a.m. Thursday, June 17, at Regular Baptist Church in Jenks. Pastor Troy Hayes officiated.
1 CONT Burial followed at Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.
1 CONT Jay Henry was born March 28, 1923 at Wetumka, Okla., son of Alfred L. and Alberta (Crownover) Henry. He died Monday, June 14 at his home in Jenks.
1 CONT Mr. Henry was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He married Lucille Holden on Aug. 21, 1946 at Holdenville, Okla. They moved to Jenks in August of 1954. Lucille preceded him in death on Feb. 8, 2000.
1 CONT J.S. was a mechanic supervisor for Jenks Public Schools for 26 years before retiring in 1987. He enjoyed fishing, repairing clocks and sewing machines and working for his church.
1 CONT He was a member of Regular Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the church, 11808 S. Elm, Jenks, OK 74037.
1 CONT He is survived by two sons, Lonnie and his wife Mary Henry, Jenks, and Sam and wife Vicki Henry of Crosby, TX; one brother, Ray Henry of Port Hynemie, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
1 CONT He was preceded in death by a sister, Dolly.
