Gerald Darwin Dunham
Gerald Darwin Dunham, 68, of Edgar Springs, was born May 7, 1936, in Edgar Springs to the late James Alonzo Dunham and Avis (Widener) Dunham and departed this Aug. 1, 2004, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his sister and one infant brother.
He served in theAir Force for 22 years retiring as a master sergeant. He was active in the Virgil Faulkner VFW Post No. 2025 of Rolla, and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Anutt. He served his community for a number of years at the Edgar Springs Water Office and as an election official for Phelps County.
He is survived by his wife Caroline of the home; three sons, Jerry Dunham and Gina, of St. Louis, John Newman and Tammy, of Fayetteville, N.C., Sam Newman and Cheryl, of Edgar Springs; two daughters, Brenda Hines, of Rolla, and Karen Lopez, of Stockton, Calif.; two brothers, Herschel Dunham and Jean, of Rolla, Bob Dunham, of Edgar Springs; one sister, Hazel Webb, of Rolla; two special nieces, Saundra Dooley, of Edgar Springs, Judy Dotson and husband Joe, of Edgar Springs; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a number of friends and relatives.

1 CONT Speedy Bahr
Harry "Speedy" Bahr, 66, son of Peter and Virginia Kennedy Bahr, was born Sept. 27, 1943, at Eureka. He died July 9, 2001, at his home at Affton.
He worked in area sawmills in his younger years. He later worked for 30 years for the Parkway School District. He enjoyed racing cars at Pevely Raceway and St. Charles Speedway.
He was married to Norma Miller for 33 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one son.
Surviving are his wife of the home; five sons, Timothy Bahr and Dennis Bahr of St. Louis, Charles Wells of Festus, Pete Bahr III of New York and Dewayne Mace of Sullivan; two daughters, Carla Karay of O'Fallon and Lura Bahr of the home; two brothers, Ed Walsh of Wentzville and John Walsh of St. Louis; two sisters, Caroline Dunham and Peggy Sosa of Edgar Springs; and 13 grandchildren.
Services were July 11 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Hamilton officiating. Burial was in the Edgar Springs Cemetery.
