(Colin) James returned to Vancouver, ended up drifing again, the played for a year in a band led by Billy Cowsill, famous in the 1960s for the hit song "Indian Lake." "He'd play anything from Brenda Lee's "I'm Sorry" to Marty Robbins "Duster" so I had to play a big number in a country style, sometimes in more of a bluegrass style, then maybe in more of a Beatle-ish style.
