Lou Rawls, Cowsills Slated at Disneyland

Soul singer Lou Rawls and the Cowsills will headline a hit-maker musical line-up for Disneyland's Fifth annual Valentine Party February 14.

With Checkmates Ltd. as an added attraction, plus the popular "Blossoms", the Spats, Disneyland's versatile new "Gernation Gap", the Golden Horseshoe Revue and the Royal Tabitians, the Park will be filled with music and dancing from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The special party also features spectacular aerial fireworks.

Advance tickets (now on sale at $6 each) include unlimited use of Disneyland attractions plus admission to the Park and all the special shows and entertainment.

Lou Rawls, whose top-selling records include "Dead End Street" and "Love is a Hurting Think" heads a Valentine variety show on Tomorrowland Stage with the Blossoms, Checkmates Ltd. and the Stage Band.

The Cowsills, a big Disneyland hit last Easter, are known both for their best-selling records and numerous national television appearances. They'll perform throughout the evening at Tomorrowland Terrace.

Tickets are on sale at Wallichs Music City, Desmonds, Disneyland and with BankAmericard at Southern California branches of the Bank of America. Tickets at Disneyland on the night of the Valentine event will be $7.50.
