PITTSBURG, Kan. – The nationally-known Cowsills will give a concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Carney Hall Auditorium at Kansas State College of Pittsburg. Tickets will go on sale to KSC activity card holders Wednesday, Nov. 12, and to the general public Monday, Nov. 17.
The Cowsills are a seven-member family group which began as a four-man band. The group now consists of five brothers and their mother and sister. Single hits recorded by them include “Hair,” “Love American Style,” “We Can Fly,” and “The Rain, the Park and Other Things.”
