Karen Betsy Locke and William Joseph Cowsill Jr. were married last Sunday.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Alexander Locke of 213 N. Hall St., Allentown and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Joseph Cowsill of Newport, R.I.
The ceremony was performed in Church of Christ in New York and was followed by a reception at the Waldorf Astoria.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Dorothy Crown as maid of honor.
Paul M. Cowsill was best man for his brother. Ushering were Ira Wolfe and Richard Korn.
After a wedding trip to the Virgin Islands, the couple will reside at 888 8th Ave., Apt. 5R, New York City.
The bride is a sophomore at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.
The bridegroom is a sophomore at Pace College in Manhattan and a member of the singing group, The Cowsills, who will be appearing at the Allentown Fair.
