The Cowsills bolt through a zealous set of tunes on their second album entitled "We Can Fly" (MGM). This time they try it without the aid of Art Kornfeld, and they sound better. Under the seemingly adept direction of Bob and Bill Cowsill, the family spouts ebullient harmony schemes, turning out 11 robust numbers, many their own compositions. Besides the title tune, "We Can Fly," the album includes "I'm in Need of a Friend," "Yesterday's Girl," "One Man Show," "Gotta Get Away From It All" and "What Is Happy."
