The Cowsills, one of the nation's top recording groups, have been signed by executive producers Jim Parker and Arnold Margolin to sing the title tune on Paramount Television's new "convertible" comedy series "Love, American Style."
This marks the first time a top 40 vocal recording group has been signed to sing a title tune for a television series.
The popular singers, winners of two gold records - "The Rain, the Park, and Other Things" and "Hair" - will also record a single of the title tune, "Love, American Style," written by Charles Fox and Arnold Margolin, for release prior to the series premier on ABC-TV in the Fall.
